Cookie & Tracking Notice

Last updated: 13 July 2026

Alias, operated by Technofledge Pvt Ltd, uses a deliberately small set of cookies and similar technologies (like session and local storage). We use them to keep you signed in and the app working — not to follow you around the internet. This notice sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

Essential cookies & storage

These are required for Aliasto function, and can't be switched off within the app:

  • Authentication. Keeps you securely signed in after you verify your phone with an OTP, so you don't have to log in on every screen.
  • App-lock state. Remembers that you've unlocked the app with your PIN for the current session, so the app-lock behaves correctly.
  • Preferences & security. Stores basic settings and helps us keep the service secure and detect abuse.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics to understand how Alias is used — which features help, where people get stuck — so we can improve it. This is measured in aggregate and is not used to build advertising profiles of you.

No third-party ad tracking

We don't run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking networks inside Alias. We don't sell your data, and we don't let advertisers follow you across other apps and sites.

Controlling cookies

You can clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking essential cookies will sign you out and stop Alias from working properly. Where we use non-essential analytics, you can opt out from Settings.

Consent under the DPDP Act

In line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we rely on your consent (or a legitimate use) for any non-essential processing, and you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. For questions, contact our Grievance Officer, Grievance Officer, at privacy@example.com.
