Community Guidelines

Last updated: 13 July 2026

Aliasworks because people show up as their real selves behind a persona, and treat each other well. These guidelines are the deal for being here. They're part of our Terms of Service — break them and you may lose access. Follow them and you help keep this the rare room online that actually feels safe.

1

Be real underneath the persona

A persona is a mask you choose, not a lie you tell. Have fun with your name and vibe, but don't impersonate a real person, pose as someone you're not to deceive, or run a fake identity to manipulate or defraud. The persona hides your face — it should never hide dishonest intentions.

2

Be respectful

Treat everyone with basic decency. No harassment, threats, hate speech, or demeaning people for who they are — caste, religion, gender, sexuality, body, or anything else. Disagreement is fine; cruelty isn't. A 'no' or silence is a complete answer.

3

Consent is everything

Only send explicit content to someone who has clearly asked for it. Unsolicited nudes or graphic messages are never okay and will get you removed. Consent can be withdrawn at any time — keep checking in, and stop the moment someone isn't into it.

4

Adults only, always

Everyone here is 18 or over. Never involve, depict, sexualise or target minors in any way. Any content involving a minor results in an immediate permanent ban and a report to the authorities. There are no second chances on this one.

5

No solicitation or spam

Don't use Alias to sell, promote, recruit, run scams, or dump your phone number, socials or payment handles to move people off-platform for money. Genuine connection only — not a marketplace.

6

The no-face norm — and the reveal

Alias is built face-last. Don't pressure anyone to show their face, share socials, or send a photo before they're ready. A reveal is a moment two people choose together, never a demand or a condition. If someone isn't ready, respect it.

7

After Dark expectations

After Dark is an opt-in, verified space for open-minded, adult connection. The same rules apply — consent, respect, no minors — with even less tolerance for pressure or non-consensual content. What happens there stays there: don't screenshot, share or out anyone.

8

Report, don't retaliate

If something feels wrong, use one-tap block & report. Our moderators review reports and act on them. Don't take matters into your own hands, and never misuse reporting to harass someone you disagree with.

If you see something

Use block & report inside any chat or profile, or reach out through our Safety Centre. Serious safety concerns are reviewed by real people. Thank you for helping keep Alias a place worth being.
