Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Technofledge Pvt Ltd, which operates Alias. By creating an account or using Alias, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines and Disclaimer, which form part of these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to use Alias. The service is intended for use in India, launching in Bengaluru. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed immediately and reported where required by law.
2. Your account & phone authentication
You sign in with your phone number and a one-time password (OTP). Keep access to your number and device secure — you are responsible for activity on your account. One person, one account; you may run up to two personas, including an opt-in After Dark persona. Do not share, sell or transfer your account.
3. Acceptable use
Alias only works if people behave. You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, demean or hate on anyone, or send unsolicited explicit content.
- Impersonate a real person or misrepresent who you are beyond the persona concept (no catfishing to deceive or defraud).
- Involve, depict or target minors in any way, or share child sexual abuse material — this results in an immediate ban and a report to authorities.
- Post illegal content, or content that infringes others' rights.
- Solicit, spam, run scams, or dump contact information to move people off-platform for commercial gain.
- Scrape, crawl, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract other users' data or our source.
- Circumvent verification, moderation, bans, or any safety feature.

4. Personas & your content
You own the content you create — your persona details, prompts, vibe images and Vault photos. By posting it, you grant Aliasa non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the service (for example, showing your persona to people you Vibe, or sharing a Vault photo with a person you've granted access). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained for legal or safety reasons. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you post.
5. Verification
Verification is optional and performed by our partner Realr (ID, liveness and phone). Alias receives only the result and a proof reference — never your documents. A verification badge means a check was passed at a point in time; it is not a guarantee of anyone's character or intentions. See our Disclaimer.
6. Payments & membership
Browsing Alias is free. At launch, women join free, and membership for men is ₹299 per month, charged in INR via Razorpay. Membership renews automatically each period until you cancel; you can cancel anytime from Settings, and cancellation stops future renewals. Except where required by law, fees already paid for a started period are non-refundable. Prices and membership terms may change on notice.
7. Safety, moderation & suspension
We use automated and human moderation, one-tap block & report, and auto-flagging to keep the community safe. We may remove content, limit features, suspend or permanently terminate accounts that breach these Terms or the Community Guidelines, or where necessary to protect users — with or without notice depending on the severity. You may stop using Alias and delete your account at any time.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Aliasis provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We are a platform that helps people connect; we are not a party to interactions between users and do not conduct background or criminal checks beyond the stated verification. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Technofledge Pvt Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for the conduct of any user. 9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under Indian law.
10. Grievance redressal
In accordance with the Information Technology Act and DPDP Act, 2023, our Grievance Officer is Grievance Officer, reachable at privacy@example.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and resolve them within the timelines prescribed by law.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Aliasevolves. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
