Every account is verified before it can matter to you — and the deeper the room, the deeper the check. All of it runs through Realr, a separate trust layer. Alias receives the result of the check as a badge — we never see, touch or store your documents. We can't leak what we never had.

App Lock
A PIN gate on the whole app — it opens only for you. Hand your phone to anyone and Alias stays a locked door.
Screenshot deterrent
Screens are guarded and capture attempts get flagged. What happens in a chat is meant to stay in the chat.
Disappearing messages
Set a timer on a single message or the whole conversation. Gone means gone — on both phones.
Encrypted at rest
Message bodies are encrypted in the database. A breach of a server is not a breach of your conversations.
The Vault
Private photos with per-person access. Grant it in a tap, revoke it just as fast — and they lose the photos, not you.
Ghost mode
Browse without appearing in anyone’s feed. Only the people you choose to Vibe can find you.
Distance, masked
No “700m away”. Your locality is as precise as it ever gets, so nobody can triangulate where you live.
Hidden from contacts
People in your phone book never see your persona. Your colleague, your cousin, your ex — none of them.
Neutral billing

Patterns of harassment and solicitation are flagged automatically — often before anyone has had to file a report.

Reports reach humans
One tap on any persona or any single message sends it to a human review queue, with the message and its context attached, on an audit trail.

Consequences are automatic
Cross the reporting threshold and the account is suspended automatically while moderators review. Repeat behaviour doesn’t get a long leash.
The standard is short.

How to report
In the app — one tap
Report any persona, or any single message, from right where you see it. The report reaches the human review queue with the content and its context attached. Blocking is instant, mutual and silent — you vanish from each other everywhere, and they are never told.
Outside the app
For grievances, escalations or anything the in-app flow didn't resolve, write to our grievance officer — Grievance Officer, privacy@example.com. A human reads and answers every message. And you can delete your account and every trace of your data, any time, from Settings.
