How it works
Five steps.
Face last.
From a name you invented to a person who actually knows you — the whole journey, in order.

01
Build your persona
Pick a name that isn’t yours and a tagline in your own words. Set moods that change when you do, add vibe images — the chai, the trail, the gig — instead of selfies, and the quirks people actually message about. Twenty seconds of voice if you want it, playlists if you’ve got taste. Everything that makes you interesting; nothing that makes you findable.

02
Browse by vibe
No grid of faces judged in half a second. A deck of personas ranked for you — shared moods, matching intent, a distance you’re both comfortable with. Filter by the energy you’re actually in tonight: flirty, coffee date, late-night chatter. You read people here. You don’t rate them.

03
Vibe with a note
There is no naked like on Alias. Every Vibe carries a note about what caught you — which is why nobody here opens with “hey”. Interest costs a sentence, so an inbox only holds people who spent one. You start with five free Vibes; members send unlimited. And when someone really stops you, a Super Vibe pins your note to the very top of their inbox — members get one free every day.

04
Talk like humans
A mutual Vibe opens the chat — and icebreakers seeded from the quirks you share kill the blank screen. Send voice notes when typing is too small for it. Set messages to disappear, one at a time or the whole chat. And if nobody says anything for 14 days, the match quietly fades — say something or make room.

05
Reveal when ready
Your face is the last chapter, not the cover. The reveal is mutual and only you can trigger yours — never a demand, never a countdown. Grant Vault photos person by person and revoke them just as fast. Swap socials when it’s earned. By the time someone sees your face, they already like you.

The second lane
And then there's After Dark.
An opt-in room for open-minded connections, with a second persona that exists only here. Everything above still applies — the notes, the fade, the reveal — it just happens in the dark.
Verified people only
Everyone in the room has passed a Realr check before they can even see it.
A separate persona per lane
A different name, a different feed, different chats — a mask for the mask.
The two can never be linked
Not by your matches, not by anyone. Your daylight self and your night self never share a room.
The whole app flips with you
Cross over and the theme, feed and inbox all go dark. Matching runs on shared desires — stated, not guessed.
